rmc (born Robert McKellar) refuses to let any genre hold him down. A 21-year-old from New Hampshire, rmc is currently going to the University of Montana and working on his first EP in Missoula Montana. rmc's familiar yet fresh and different sound has been compared to a wide range of artists, from Zach Bryan and Noah Kahan to Matt Maher and John Mayer. Sitting on the Roof is the first single to be released by rmc. Drawing tuning inspiration from Yvette Young, this song was written during the winter of 2022, which found rmc home in New Hampshire for medical treatments. From the first time he played the melody, rmc fell back in love with music all over again and has been creating and enjoying music more than ever before.
